Dear translators, all texts for the upcoming version 3.6 of Field Desktop are now available in Weblate. Please complete the translations by October 14th.

Please make sure that at least the following valuelists are translated in the component "Default valuelists": "process-state-default", "weight-scale-values-default", "volume-measurementTechnique-default" (the translation texts for these valuelists appear first for this component when translating in Weblate). All other components should be fully translated as usual.

Liebe Übersetzer:innen, alle Texte der kommenden Version 3.6 von Field Desktop sind jetzt in Weblate verfügbar. Wir möchten euch bitten, die Übersetzungen bis zum 14. Oktober fertigzustellen.

Bitte stellt sicher, dass in der Komponente "Default valuelists" mindestens die folgenden Wertelisten übersetzt sind: "process-state-default", "weight-scale-values-default", "volume-measurementTechnique-default" (die Übersetzungstexte der genannten Wertelisten erscheinen bei der Übersetzung in Weblate als erste für diese Komponente). Alle anderen Komponenten sollten wie immer vollständig übersetzt werden.

Happy new year! The release of Field Desktop 3.5 is just around the corner and a few new texts have been added (this time not quite as many as last time). Please translate the texts by January 27th if you can. As always, the default valuelists do not have to be translated completely.

Frohes neues Jahr! Der Release von Field Desktop 3.5 steht kurz bevor und es sind wieder ein paar neue Texte zusammengekommen (diesmal nicht ganz so viele wie zuletzt). Bitte übersetzt die Texte wenn es euch möglich ist bis zum 27. Januar. Wie immer gilt, dass die Wertelisten ("Default valuelists") nicht vollständig übersetzt werden müssen.

Liebe Übersetzer*innen,

Anfang Mai möchten wir die neue Version 3.4 von Field Desktop veröffentlichen. Deswegen bitten wir euch darum, bis zum 06.05. die noch fehlenden Übersetzungen in den Sprachen Italienisch, Ukrainisch und Türkisch für die neu hinzugekommenen bzw. veränderten Texte zu ergänzen.

Um die noch zu übersetzenden Texte angezeigt zu bekommen, könnt ihr nach der Auswahl einer Komponente in Weblate jeweils die Zahl unter "Unvollständig" in der Zeile eurer Sprache anklicken. Weitere Hinweise zur Arbeit mit Weblate findet ihr im Wiki.

Die Übersetzung der Texte innerhalb der Komponente "Valuelists (default)" ist optional, diese Texte müssen für die neue Version nicht vollständig übersetzt werden.

Solltet ihr Fragen zu einzelnen Texten haben, könnt ihr diese am Besten als Kommentar in Weblate direkt beim entsprechenden Text stellen. Bei Fragen zum Übersetzungsprozess mit Weblate schreibt bitte einfach eine Mail an <idai.field@dainst.de>.

Dear translators,

We would like to release the new version 3.4 of Field Desktop at the beginning of May. We therefore ask you to add the missing translations in the languages Italian, Ukrainian and Turkish for the newly added or changed texts until the 6th of May.

To display the texts still to be translated, after selecting a component in Weblate you can click on the number shown under "Unfinished" in the row of your language. Further information on working with Weblate can be found in the wiki.

The translation of the texts within the component "Valuelists (default)" is optional, these texts do not have to be translated completely for the new version.

If you have any questions about individual texts, the best way to ask them is by adding a comment to the corresponding text in Weblate. If you have any questions about the translation process with Weblate, please just send an email to <idai.field@dainst.de>.
